Charlie Crane, MD

Charlie was raised in the Seattle area and attended Stanford. In 1984 he received his undergraduate degree in Biology. Charlie then took a year off from school and lived in Jackson, Wyoming where he was a substitute teacher at the high school and spent much of his time in the winters skiing.

In 1989 Charlie received his medical degree from Duke, then completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Washington in 1992.

From there, Charlie joined a solo practice in Soldotna, Alaska in 1993 and worked there for 11 years. During that time, he met and married Kathi Riba. Together they had a daughter, Paige, in 1998, and a son, Charlie, in 1999.

In 2004, they moved to Sandpoint, and Charlie joined Dr. Cope, Dr. Carlson and Dr. Burgstahler at Internal Medicine Associates, where he is currently practicing.

The Crane family spends much of their free time at Priest Lake, Schweitzer, and playing soccer.
